Ilse Schrittesser is presently professor for learning and teaching research at the University of Innsbruck. She is head of the department for teacher education and school research at the faculty of educational sciences in Innsbruck and co-founder of the Innsbruck center for learning research. Before, she was professor at the University of Vienna and head of the department of education there.
Her research interests lie in the field of learning theories and professionalism research. Her publications focus on university development, teacher education, school theories and theories of learning and teaching.
